Professional DIG-IT Whitening Lamp on Stand

The DIG-IT whitening lamp is a versatile professional standing model for use in salons and practices. The lamp combines multiple light modes with adjustable intensity, digital controls and a flexible adjustable setup.

Three different light modes

The DIG-IT features blue, violet and white light. Each light mode has its own function within the professional treatment environment.

The blue light is used during whitening treatments. The violet and white light modes provide additional visual support while working.

The three DIG-IT light modes

Blue light

The blue light mode is used during professional whitening treatments. The wavelength is approximately 460 ± 10 nm.

Violet light

The violet light mode has a wavelength of approximately 410 nm. This light may help make visual differences between natural tooth structure and certain restorative materials more noticeable.

White light

The white light mode can be used as a practical working and inspection light during preparation and checking of the treatment area.

Important information about violet light

The violet light mode is an additional visual function and is not a diagnostic tool. If there is any doubt about the condition of teeth or restorations, the client should be referred to a dentist.

Three adjustable light intensity levels

The light intensity of the DIG-IT can be set to 50%, 70% or 100%. This allows the treatment to be built up in a controlled way and the light output to be adapted to the selected treatment protocol and the client's response.

During the course, you will learn how to use the different intensity levels responsibly and when it may be appropriate to adjust the intensity during a subsequent treatment round.

Functions of the DIG-IT Whitening Lamp

Touch controls

The main functions of the lamp can be operated easily using the touch control panel.

Digital display

The display clearly shows the selected settings, making it easy to monitor the treatment.

0–99 minute timer

The digital timer can be set from 0 to 99 minutes, allowing the required treatment time to be selected accurately.

Automatic switch-off

When the selected treatment time has elapsed, the lamp switches off automatically.

Adjustable lamp head

The movable lamp head allows the light to be positioned accurately in relation to the mouth.

Height adjustable

The height of the lamp can be adjusted to suit the treatment chair and the position of the client.

Mobile stand

The mobile stand allows the DIG-IT to be moved easily within the treatment room.

Compact professional system

The combination of a standing setup, digital controls and multiple light modes makes the DIG-IT suitable for regular professional use without requiring a large treatment system.

10 W professional light system

The DIG-IT has a power output of 10 watts and combines this with multiple light modes and adjustable intensity levels.

This means the emphasis of this model is not only on power, but particularly on flexibility, ease of operation and multiple practical functions within a professional treatment environment.

Warranty & repair service for X-treme Smile® whitening lamps

For X-treme Smile® whitening lamps, the warranty period stated on the relevant product page and/or purchase documentation applies. In addition to warranty handling, X-treme Smile® provides its own repair service for our whitening lamps.

Warranty and repair services at X-treme Smile® are provided on a walk-in / carry-in basis. This means that the equipment must be delivered to X-treme Smile® for assessment, warranty handling or repair. If the equipment is shipped, shipping and transport costs are borne by the customer.

Warranty

If you believe there may be a warranty issue, contact us first. We determine the appropriate next steps and, where necessary, can technically inspect the equipment.

Do not open, modify or have the equipment repaired by third parties without prior coordination. This may affect safety and the assessment of the warranty claim.

Our own repair service

Even when a defect is not covered by warranty or the warranty period has expired, we can inspect and repair many X-treme Smile® whitening lamps through our own repair service.

After technical inspection, we first clearly explain the issue and the expected costs before any further paid repair work is carried out.

Walk-in / carry-in warranty

Transport costs are not included

X-treme Smile® warranty and repair service operates on a walk-in / carry-in basis. The customer is responsible for delivering and, where applicable, collecting the whitening lamp.

If equipment is shipped by a carrier, all shipping, transport, packaging and any insurance costs are borne by the customer.

This applies to:

  • shipping a whitening lamp to X-treme Smile® for inspection;
  • shipping a whitening lamp for warranty assessment;
  • shipping a whitening lamp for a paid repair;
  • return shipment of inspected or repaired equipment;
  • shipping a replacement part;
  • shipping a replacement whitening lamp when replacement of the equipment is applied.

Shipping and transport costs are not part of X-treme Smile®'s commercial warranty and are not reimbursed by X-treme Smile®, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing in advance.

X-treme Smile® is not obliged to provide a free shipping label for warranty or repair shipments.

What is covered by warranty?

The warranty is intended for technical, electronic, mechanical, material or manufacturing defects that arise within the applicable warranty period during normal, careful and intended use of the whitening lamp.

  • Technical or electronic faults arising during normal use
  • Defects in internal components that were not caused by an external factor
  • Mechanical defects in parts designed to move or be adjusted, when these arise during normal use
  • Material or manufacturing defects
  • Other defects where technical inspection shows that they were not caused by user damage, improper use or an external cause

X-treme Smile® inspects the equipment and, based on the nature and cause of the defect, determines whether the problem falls within the applicable warranty conditions.

What is not covered by warranty?

Damage or defects caused by improper or careless use, an external cause, insufficient maintenance or actions carried out on the equipment are not covered by the commercial warranty. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Damage caused by dropping, impact or collision
  • Breakage, bending or deformation caused by moving, twisting, bending or loading fixed or non-adjustable parts
  • Damage caused by using adjustable arms, hinges, pivot points or other moving parts with excessive force or beyond their normal range of movement
  • Water, moisture or liquid damage, including spilled liquids, cleaning agents entering the equipment, condensation, leakage or high moisture exposure
  • Incorrect connection of the equipment
  • Use of an incorrect mains voltage, power supply, adapter, plug or other electrical connection
  • Damage caused by voltage surges, power supply problems, short circuits, lightning strikes or other external electrical causes
  • Use of unsuitable or non-approved accessories, parts, power supplies or connection materials
  • Opening or dismantling the equipment without prior permission from X-treme Smile®
  • Repairs, alterations, modifications or technical work carried out by the customer or unauthorised third parties
  • Removing, bypassing or modifying safety or protective devices
  • Damage caused by incorrect assembly or installation
  • Use that does not comply with the user manual, safety instructions or intended use of the equipment
  • Overloading or overheating caused by incorrect use, blocked ventilation or insufficient free space around ventilation openings
  • Damage caused by storage or use under unsuitable conditions, including extreme heat, cold, moisture, direct sunlight or heavily contaminated environments
  • Damage caused by incorrect cleaning or disinfection, including aggressive cleaning products, solvents or spraying liquids directly into electrical or mechanical parts
  • Damage caused by insufficient maintenance or failure to follow maintenance, cleaning or operating instructions
  • Corrosion, contamination or deterioration caused by liquids, chemicals or incorrect cleaning
  • Transport damage occurring after delivery
  • Transport damage caused by inadequate or unsuitable packaging
  • Normal wear and tear that can reasonably be expected during regular use
  • Cosmetic damage such as scratches, discolouration or signs of use that do not affect technical operation
  • Damage caused by fire, flooding or other external events
  • Damage caused by any other improper, careless or unintended use

If the serial number, rating plate or other identification required for the equipment has been removed, altered or made illegible, this may make assessment of a warranty claim impossible.

A listed exclusion does not automatically mean that every fault or damage of that type is outside the warranty. The assessment is based on the actual cause of the defect.

Cost of a paid repair

  • Inspection fee: €25
  • Labour: €60 excl. VAT per hour
  • Required parts and materials are charged separately
  • Outbound and return shipping and transport costs are not included

The inspection fee applies to a paid repair or when inspection shows that the defect is not covered by the applicable warranty.

If X-treme Smile® accepts the defect as a warranty case, no inspection fee is charged as a paid repair for the warranty assessment. Any shipping and transport costs remain the customer's responsibility, including in an accepted warranty case.

After inspection, we clearly inform you in advance of the expected repair costs. Where reasonably possible at that stage, we indicate the expected labour costs and the costs of required parts or materials.

We will not carry out any further paid repair work until the expected costs have been communicated to you and the repair has been agreed.

How the repair and warranty procedure works

1

Report the fault

Contact X-treme Smile® first and provide the lamp model, purchase details and a clear description of the problem. Photos or videos may assist the initial assessment.

2

Initial assessment

We review the available information and let you know whether additional details are required and whether the equipment needs to be delivered for technical inspection.

3

Deliver or ship the equipment

You can deliver or ship the equipment to X-treme Smile® in accordance with the instructions provided. When shipped, transport and shipping costs are borne by the customer.

4

Technical inspection

We inspect the equipment and try to determine the cause of the defect. We also assess whether the problem falls within the applicable warranty conditions.

5

Warranty or paid repair

If the defect is accepted as a warranty case, the warranty procedure is followed. If the defect is not covered by warranty or the warranty period has expired, we may offer a paid repair.

6

Costs communicated in advance

For a paid repair, you receive information on the expected labour and parts costs after inspection and before any further work is carried out.

7

Repair or replacement

After agreement, we carry out the agreed repair. Labour is charged at €60 excl. VAT per hour; parts and materials are not included. If replacement is chosen under warranty, we may send a replacement part or device.

8

Return shipment or replacement equipment

Under our walk-in / carry-in arrangement, the costs of returning inspected or repaired equipment and the shipping costs of any replacement part or replacement whitening lamp are borne by the customer.

Important information about transport and packaging

  • Always contact us before sending a whitening lamp.
  • Only send equipment after you have received service or return instructions.
  • Pack the whitening lamp carefully and use packaging suitable for the weight, dimensions and vulnerable parts of the equipment.
  • Where available, preferably use the original transport packaging and protective materials.
  • Protect lamp heads, arms, displays, bases and protruding parts separately against movement and impact.
  • If requested, send the complete equipment, power supply, controls and relevant parts for proper diagnosis.
  • The sender bears the risk of transport damage while the equipment is being shipped to X-treme Smile®.
  • Damage caused by inadequate or unsuitable packaging is not covered by warranty.
  • Shipping, transport, packaging and insurance costs are not reimbursed by X-treme Smile®.
  • This also applies to return transport after repair and shipment of a replacement part or replacement whitening lamp.

Support via X-treme Smile®

If you have a technical problem with an X-treme Smile® whitening lamp, always contact us first. We will help determine what information is needed and whether the equipment needs to be inspected.

If the problem is covered by the applicable warranty, we follow the warranty procedure. If the problem concerns user damage, an external cause or a defect outside the warranty period, we can offer our own paid repair service where possible.

Our warranty and repair service is provided on a walk-in / carry-in basis. Outbound and return transport and shipping costs, including shipment of a replacement part or replacement whitening lamp, are not included.

Any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable mandatory law remain fully applicable.
