Training based on dental knowledge & practical experience

X-treme Smile® Teeth Whitening Training has been developed from dental knowledge and many years of practical experience with professional teeth whitening. The focus is therefore not only on following treatment steps, but also on understanding the treatment.

You learn to work carefully and hygienically, assess products and treatment methods and recognise important considerations before carrying out a treatment. This means learning not only what to do, but also why.

Training, products & EU regulations

Completing a training course does not automatically determine which teeth whitening products you may use professionally. This depends, among other things, on the product composition and concentration and on the legislation applicable in the country where you work.

Within the EU, teeth whitening products that contain or release more than 0.1% and up to 6% hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) are subject to specific legal restrictions. These products may only be sold to dental practitioners. The first use in each cycle of use must be carried out by a dental practitioner or under their direct supervision where an equivalent level of safety is ensured. These products must not be used on persons under 18 years of age.

A training certificate does not change these legal product restrictions. Always check which rules apply to the product you use and in the country where you work.

X-treme Smile® is registered with the Centraal Register Kort Beroepsonderwijs (CRKBO). The training component of our vocational courses is therefore invoiced VAT-exempt. The applicable VAT rate may still apply to products, materials or equipment.
