Who is X-treme Smile?
X-treme Smile has been active in the professional teeth whitening and tooth gem industry since 2010. From our training centre and webshop in Joure, the Netherlands, we train professionals, share specialist knowledge and supply products for professional and cosmetic teeth whitening and tooth gem applications.
Our expertise is built on a combination of dental knowledge, professional training in the Netherlands and abroad, many years of practical experience and the daily support of professionals working with our products and treatment protocols.
From a small beginning to X-treme Smile
At the heart of X-treme Smile is owner and trainer Jitske. She trained as a dental assistant, which provided the first foundation for her dental knowledge and practical experience.
After the birth of her son, she decided to take her career in a different direction. While studying Graphic Design, she returned to providing treatments and teaching. She soon discovered that training and supporting other professionals was where her true passion lay.
X-treme Smile was founded in 2010. What began on a small scale from home gradually developed into a specialised company with its own training centre, webshop and professional product range.
Our approach has remained the same throughout the years: we do not simply want to supply professionals with products, but also explain how and why they are used. That is why we combine product knowledge with training, practical guidance and continued support after the course.
Dental background and continuous professional development
The expertise behind X-treme Smile has not been built on practical experience alone. Over the years, Jitske has continued to deepen her knowledge of the theory, materials and techniques behind professional teeth whitening.
Dental foundation
Her training and experience as a dental assistant provided the initial foundation for her knowledge of teeth, oral health, dental materials and professional dental procedures.
Training in the Netherlands and abroad
Jitske has attended various additional courses in the Netherlands and abroad to further develop her knowledge of teeth whitening, whitening products, treatment protocols and professional equipment.
She attended training by Cavex, including Sense and Nonsense of Tooth Whitening, which explored whitening agents, treatment principles and the background of teeth whitening in greater depth.
In England, she also completed specialised training focused on professional teeth whitening using whitening lamps.
Since 2010, Jitske has trained and supported professionals from a wide range of backgrounds in the use of teeth whitening and tooth gem techniques and products. This experience, together with her professional training and dental background, forms the basis of the way X-treme Smile develops its courses and supports professionals.

Official BEYOND® distributor for the Benelux
X-treme Smile has worked with BEYOND® Teeth Whitening since 2010 and was officially appointed exclusive distributor for the Benelux in 2020.
This long-term partnership has given us extensive product knowledge and practical experience with professional BEYOND® whitening systems and related products. From X-treme Smile, we support professionals throughout the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg with the selection and use of professional teeth whitening equipment and products.
Our partnership with BEYOND® reflects the way we work at X-treme Smile: not simply supplying products, but also supporting professionals with knowledge about equipment, product selection, treatment protocols and practical use.
Expertise in professional teeth whitening
At X-treme Smile, we work daily with different aspects of professional and cosmetic teeth whitening. We do not only look at the final result, but also at the factors that influence how a treatment is carried out.
From whitening gel to treatment protocol
Our expertise includes whitening agents, viscosity, product selection, treatment protocols, professional whitening lamps, client selection, practical treatment issues and aftercare.
For professionals working with cosmetic products, we offer cosmetic teeth whitening gels and kits. Dental professionals can also find dedicated whitening gels for dentists.
Professionals who want to develop their skills further can also follow our teeth whitening course.
Expertise in Tooth Gems
Alongside teeth whitening, X-treme Smile has built extensive practical and product expertise in tooth gems and professional bonding techniques.
Materials, bonding and placement
Our expertise includes tooth gem bonding, material selection, placement techniques, curing, positioning, design, professional tools and troubleshooting common treatment issues.
Within our training programmes, we also share this knowledge with professionals. The emphasis is not only on following each step, but on understanding why a particular protocol is used.
Training and support from Einsteinstate
Today, X-treme Smile operates from Einsteinstate, our premises at Albert Einsteinweg 4 in Joure, the Netherlands. A fitting name for a place where knowledge, training, product experience and daily practice come together.
Our training centre is located here. We provide courses, process webshop orders and support customers and students with questions about treatments, protocols, materials and products.
For us, training does not end when the course day is over. Professionals continue to develop by gaining experience, asking questions and encountering new practical situations. That is why our students can continue to contact us for professional support after completing their training.
Our team
Within the X-treme Smile team, we combine dental knowledge, dental technology expertise, professional beauty therapy experience and many years of practical experience with our own treatment and training methods.
Jitske
Jitske is the founder and owner of X-treme Smile and has been active within the company since 2010.
Over the years, she supplemented her background as a dental assistant with professional training in the Netherlands and abroad, including Cavex training and specialised training in England focused on professional teeth whitening using whitening lamps.
Within X-treme Smile, she is involved in training content, treatment protocols, product selection and professional support for customers and students.
Elke
Elke is a dental technician and trainer at X-treme Smile.
Her dental technology background adds valuable expertise to the training team, particularly in the areas of teeth, materials, shape and aesthetics.
Karin
Karin first became acquainted with X-treme Smile in 2012, when she attended one of our courses herself.
She has been part of the X-treme Smile team since 2018 and has been delivering training courses for many years.
Her knowledge was built through X-treme Smile's training methods and has been further developed through years of practical experience within the company.
In addition to her role as a trainer, Karin and Jolanda handle an important part of our daily order processing. Together they carefully pick, check and pack customer orders.
Jolanda
Jolanda is a qualified beauty therapist and also has practical experience providing teeth whitening treatments in her own salon.
This practical experience is a valuable addition to X-treme Smile, as she knows first-hand how products, treatment protocols and professional equipment are used in a salon environment.
At X-treme Smile, Jolanda supports our daily operations and, together with Karin, takes care of an important part of our order processing.
Pieter
Pieter supports X-treme Smile with logistics and other behind-the-scenes activities that help keep our daily operations running smoothly.
Sandra and our exhibition team
Sandra and our other exhibition team members represent X-treme Smile at trade shows and events and help visitors discover our products, courses and professional approach.
Experience, expertise and visibility
Over the years, X-treme Smile has appeared on television several times and our products have been used and promoted by various Dutch celebrities.
That is of course great to see, but for us the real value lies in the professionals who train with us, work with our products in practice and return to X-treme Smile for products, further education or professional support.
