Would you like to learn professional teeth whitening and start working with an advanced BEYOND® whitening system? The In-Person Teeth Whitening Course in Joure + BEYOND® II Ultra Starter Package combines our practical professional training with a complete starter package and the BEYOND® II Ultra Whitening Accelerator.
The BEYOND® II Ultra is designed differently from a conventional whitening lamp. This compact floor-standing system uses a separate LED unit that attaches directly to a specially designed BEYOND® II retractor during treatment. This keeps the light source in a fixed position in relation to the teeth throughout the treatment.
The LED unit combines blue LED light with integrated ultrasound technology. The digital control panel offers three light intensity levels: 20,000, 23,000 or 26,000 lux. The ultrasound function can be switched on or off separately and is designed to support the oxidation process of the whitening gel through cavitation.
A distinctive feature of the BEYOND® II Ultra is the option to connect a second LED unit. This makes it possible to treat two clients simultaneously, with separate controls for Patient A and Patient B. The BEYOND® II Ultra is supplied with one LED unit as standard; the second LED unit is available separately.
X-treme Smile® has worked with BEYOND® since 2010 and has been the official BEYOND® distributor for the Benelux since 2020. This means that your training and equipment are supported by many years of product knowledge, practical experience and specialist support from the Netherlands.
Our team also combines more than 65 years of dental experience. During the course, you will therefore learn not only how to operate the BEYOND® II Ultra, but also how to assess clients, work safely and hygienically and carry out a professional treatment protocol.
The in-person course in Joure is available in Dutch or English.
When ordering, you can select an available training date and the required number of participants. A maximum of 3 participants can attend per booking. Our courses are deliberately kept small to ensure sufficient time for questions, personal guidance and hands-on training.
The training component is VAT exempt. The applicable VAT rate is charged on the physical products and professional equipment included in the BEYOND® II Ultra Starter Package. This distinction is automatically processed in your order.

BEYOND® II Ultra Whitening Accelerator
The BEYOND® II Ultra is a compact professional whitening system with a different design from conventional freestanding whitening lamps. Instead of positioning one large lamp head above the client, the system uses a compact LED unit mounted on a flexible arm.
The LED unit attaches directly to the special BEYOND® II retractor. As a result, the light source remains connected to the position of the retractor and is positioned directly in front of the teeth during treatment.
Expandable to two simultaneous treatments
Up to two Ultra LED units can be connected to one BEYOND® II Ultra system. The control panel distinguishes between Patient A and Patient B, allowing both treatments to be set and controlled separately.
Important: the system is supplied with one LED unit as standard. The image above shows the optional configuration with two units. To treat two clients simultaneously, a second BEYOND® II Ultra LED unit must be purchased separately.
Three Adjustable Light Intensity Levels
The light output of the BEYOND® II Ultra can be adjusted through the digital control panel according to the selected treatment protocol.
Low · 20,000 lux
The lowest light level provides reduced light output and can be selected when a lower light intensity is preferred within the chosen treatment protocol.
Medium · 23,000 lux
The medium setting provides an intermediate option between the Low and High settings and can be selected according to the treatment protocol.
High · 26,000 lux
The highest setting delivers the maximum light output of the system. During the course, you will learn how light intensity forms part of the complete treatment protocol.
Digital adjustment
The selected light intensity is shown on the control panel and can be adjusted before starting a treatment cycle.
LED light around 485 nm
According to the technical specifications from BEYOND®, the BEYOND® II Ultra uses LED light with a nominal wavelength of approximately 485 nm.
The lamp is designed as part of a professional whitening system. Treatment results are not determined by the lamp alone, but by the combination of the whitening product, treatment protocol, treatment time, initial tooth colour and correct application.
Integrated Ultrasound Technology
Ultrasound integrated into the LED unit
The BEYOND® II Ultra LED head contains an integrated ultrasound transducer. The ultrasound function can be switched on separately from the control panel.
The technology is designed to support the oxidation process of the whitening gel through cavitation. During this process, microscopic bubbles form, grow and collapse within the product.
Ultrasound is therefore used as an additional technology within the whitening process and does not replace the correct whitening product or treatment protocol.
Special BEYOND® II Retractor
The way the LED unit is positioned is one of the most important differences between the BEYOND® II Ultra and a conventional whitening lamp.
LED unit attaches directly to the retractor
During treatment, the compact BEYOND® II LED unit is clipped directly onto the designated attachment point on the special BEYOND® II retractor.
This keeps the light source connected to the position of the retractor and eliminates the need to position a large separate lamp head in front of the client's mouth.
Please note: special BEYOND® II retractors are required
The BEYOND® II Ultra requires special BEYOND® II retractors onto which the LED unit can be attached.
These retractors are not the same as the standard retractors included in our regular whitening and treatment kits. For treatments with the BEYOND® II Ultra, the dedicated retractors are therefore required and must be purchased separately.
If you want to treat two clients simultaneously, each client requires a suitable BEYOND® II retractor.
Treat Two Clients Simultaneously
One of the distinctive features of the BEYOND® II Ultra is the option to expand treatment capacity without purchasing a second complete accelerator.

One LED unit as standard
The BEYOND® II Ultra is supplied and normally used with one LED unit for one treatment.

Add a second LED unit
A second BEYOND® II Ultra LED unit can be purchased separately and connected to the second connection on the system.

Patient A and Patient B
Use the control panel to select Patient A or Patient B. Treatment time and light intensity can be set separately for each treatment.

Simultaneous treatment capacity
Both LED units can then be operated through the same system, allowing two clients to be treated at the same time.
Interesting for higher treatment capacity
This expansion option can be particularly useful for salons and practices where multiple whitening treatments are carried out throughout the day.
Instead of purchasing a second complete machine, the system can be expanded with a second LED unit. This allows one central BEYOND® II Ultra accelerator to support two treatment positions.
Digital Controls and Treatment Timer
Set the treatment time
The factory timer is set to 12 minutes by default. The treatment time can be adjusted before starting the cycle according to the treatment protocol being used.
Start, pause and cancel
A treatment cycle can be started, paused, resumed or cancelled through the control panel.
Patient A / Patient B
When two LED units are connected, the same control panel can be used to switch between the settings for Patient A and Patient B.
Independent ultrasound control
The integrated ultrasound function can be switched on and off separately from the light intensity settings.
Compact Professional System
Compact footprint
The BEYOND® II Ultra is designed as a compact professional floor-standing system. Compared with larger whitening units, it takes up relatively little floor space.
According to BEYOND®, the system can also be moved between treatment rooms. This makes it attractive for practices and salons that require professional equipment without having to place a large freestanding lamp beside every treatment chair.
Passive air ionizer
The BEYOND® II Ultra includes a passive air ionizer. This operates while the device is active and, according to BEYOND®, is designed to help gently reduce odours in the treatment room.
The ionizer is an additional comfort feature. It should not be considered a system for disinfecting or sterilising the treatment room.
BEYOND® II Ultra or POLUS® Advanced Ultra?
Both systems are part of the professional BEYOND® range, but their design, functions and intended use are clearly different.
BEYOND® II Ultra
The BEYOND® II Ultra is a compact LED and ultrasound system with digital controls and the option to add a second LED unit for two simultaneous treatments.
This model is particularly interesting when compact dimensions, ultrasound technology and expandable treatment capacity are important to your practice or salon.
BEYOND® POLUS® Advanced Ultra
The POLUS® Advanced Ultra is the more technically advanced BEYOND® system and combines features including halogen, LED, ultrasound, LightBridge™, touchscreen controls, motorised height adjustment, single-tooth whitening and an integrated curing light.
The most suitable system therefore depends on your treatment room, required functions, treatment capacity and preferred way of working.

Warranty & service for BEYOND® equipment
Professional BEYOND® whitening equipment is supplied by BEYOND International Inc. with a 3-year manufacturer's warranty against manufacturing defects on non-consumable products.
This manufacturer's warranty is provided and assessed by BEYOND International Inc. and is not assumed by X-treme Smile®. BEYOND® determines whether a defect is covered and decides on repair and/or replacement.
3-year manufacturer's warranty
BEYOND® assesses the cause and nature of warranty claims. X-treme Smile® acts as official distributor and first point of contact but does not provide a separate manufacturer's warranty.
Spare parts for 10 years
BEYOND® states that spare parts are supplied for 10 years from the date of purchase.

Service via BEYOND Europe in Poland
Bring-in arrangement
Technical repairs for our European customers are carried out via BEYOND Europe in Poland. X-treme Smile® assists and coordinates the service procedure. Transport to Poland and return transport are at the customer's expense and are not covered by the BEYOND® manufacturer's warranty.
Register first, ship afterwards
Returns for inspection, repair or replacement must be coordinated and approved in advance. Never ship equipment without prior instructions.
BEYOND® may require a defective product or part to be returned before a replacement is dispatched.
Always keep the original transport box
Keep the original packaging
Keep the original transport box, internal packaging and protective materials throughout the service life of the equipment. They are required for safe transport for service or repair.
No original box?
A new suitable transport box with protective packaging must be purchased before shipment.
