Online Teeth Whitening Training
Course Description
In this online training course, you will learn step by step how to perform cosmetic teeth whitening treatments in a professional and responsible manner. You will learn not only how to perform the treatment, but also why each step is important and when a treatment should not be carried out.
The course covers dental anatomy, tooth discoloration, hydrogen peroxide and non-peroxide whitening products, product identification, client intake, contraindications, crowns and veneers, hygiene, shade assessment, cheek retractor use, pre-treatment spray, whitening gel, whitening lamp and aftercare.
An important part of the training is learning how to observe, recognise and decide. You will learn to recognise conditions and situations that may affect a whitening treatment without making dental diagnoses yourself.
In addition to the theory, you will complete several practical assignments which are assessed separately. After successfully completing the theory, knowledge test and all practical assessments, you will receive your certificate.
Laws and regulations regarding cosmetic teeth whitening may differ between countries and may change over time. The student is responsible for checking and complying with current local laws and regulations and with the instructions for use of the products being used.
