The X-treme Smile® Lite-X is a compact, cordless LED curing light for curing suitable light-cured bonding materials during professional Tooth Gem treatments.
This is the trusted model we also include in our Tooth Gem starter kits and is now available separately. The lightweight plastic handpiece is comfortable to handle, while the powerful 5W LED provides a light intensity of 1400–1600 mW/cm² within a wavelength range of 450–470 nm.
The curing time can be adjusted from 5 to 40 seconds. This allows you to adapt the light to the light-cured material being used and the corresponding processing protocol.
The Lite-X offers three operating modes:
The integrated 2200 mAh lithium battery allows completely cordless operation. The supplied charging base also serves as a convenient holder for the curing light when it is not in use.
The unit operates without disturbing vibration and features a low-battery warning. According to the supplier specifications, the battery can support more than 200 curing cycles when used for 10 seconds per cycle before recharging is required.
The removable optical light guide directs the blue LED light towards the treatment area. This is important during Tooth Gem placement, where the bonding material surrounding the jewellery needs to be illuminated in a controlled and focused way.
The supplied orange light shield helps reduce direct exposure to the intense blue light while working.
The Lite-X is intended for users trained in the professional placement of Tooth Gems. Always use the curing light with a suitable light-cured bonding material and follow the curing time and application instructions supplied with that material. Actual curing performance is influenced by factors including the material, layer thickness, distance and position of the light guide.
